Mystical Cusco If you are a horse lover and you are looking for outdoor activities, this excursion is perfect for you. During the tour, which lasts almost three hours long, you’ll have the chance to explore Mother Nature with an experienced guide, who will take you into the mountains of Cusco to visit the Temple of the Moon, the Chacan Bridge, and other ceremonial centers once used to worship nature as part of the Andean people worldview.
Pickup at the hotel and transfer to a ranch located 20 minutes from the city of Cusco. After a brief safety information talk from our guide, we will be ready to start out on our adventure.
Temple of the Moon We begin our trip around Cusco by heading to the Temple of the Moon, a sacred site where the Incas held ceremonies and made offerings, especially on nights when the moon was full. Here, the Incas skillfully shaped the stones to form steps, seats, figures, and carved ornaments.
Chacan Mountain Our tour continues toward Chacan Mountain. Along the way, we will see farmland and Andean communities that have managed to preserve their ancestral traditions to this day. At the top of Chacan Mountain, we will share a snack as we enjoy the striking views of the city of Cusco.
After a short rest, we will return to the ranch, where transportation will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
