This tour is an excellentalternative as a prelude or after a visit to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary. TheInca sculptures that we will appreciate on this tour are distributed in themain streets of the town. Many of them talk about the history and the Inca worldview.At the end of the tour you will have the option to visit and cool off in thetown's hot springs.



Pick up from the hotel to go to the main square of Machu Picchu Pueblo. After the photos we will start the walk that will last approximately two hours. The next stop will be at the viewpoint of the Urubamba River, from where we will have an excellent view of the mountains and the river. Then we will start the climb up the Aguas Calientes River, passing very close to the craft market, until we reach the Pantigoso Bridge. Along the way we will appreciate the sculptures of the Incas who ruled the Tahuantinsuyo empire. Then we will continue the tour until we reach the thermal baths. Along the way we will appreciate several sculptures that represent the origins and the particular way that the Incas had to interpret the world. At the end of the tour you will have the option of staying to enjoy a bath in the hot springs or return with the guide along Pachacuteq Avenue until you reach the main square.

Is the walk difficult?
No, the ascent is of moderate level and it is done within the same town of Machu Picchu. You must be in good health and used to walking.

What should I wear for this tour?
We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing for the walk, as well as a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
